A Busy 8 Doctors **General Practice and Skin clinic**seeking an experienced professional Medical Receptionist who is enthusiastic, friendly, hard-working team player with excellent administration skills.
Practice is **mix bill** and use Best Practice software - We use **Easyclaim and Patient claim + Tyro for payment**.
Both PT and FT position available. Also we offer and reward staff through learning and development courses.

Operating hours - **Mon
- Fri 8-5 pm Sat 9-5 pm** - mostly morning shift but flexibility is required if need of business change.

**Salary**: $35.00- $48.00 based on experience
- **this position is also available to 2IC who has worked independent and high level of experience.**_

Duties include but not limited to:
Answering phone calls, taking messages & answering patient inquiries
Booking appointments and procedures.

Ability to perform all reception duties with mínimal supervision and provide report to senior admin staff.
Processing payments through Tyro for private patients
End of day banking reconciliations

**Essential Criteria**:
**Previous experience in General Practice is essential**

**you should be able to run the practice independently. The owner will meet weekly and go through benchmarking process and run audit.**
Experience with Best Practice software preferred
Proficient in computer skills
High level of experience in recruitment and training of highly efficient _**Admin and Nursing staff.**_

High level of experience to create right _**report for payment of GPs and Allied health.**_

Familiar with all _**Maintenance and repair of all medical and non-medical plants and equipment**_ within reasonable cost.

High level of experience with _**Accreditation process.**_

Valid **driving license and have own car.**
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Managing patient invoicing and knowledge of different kind of Billings such as Medicare, Work cover, Private and familiar with dealing with billing rejections and manual adjustment of Medicare payments.
Ensuring medical records are managed confidentially and efficiently.
Professional, reliable and friendly nature with high level of experience in training and motivating staff.
