We currently have an opportunity for a People Business Partner Advisor (3 days per week), based in our Henderson Offices, WA. You will also have the flexibility to work from home on occasions.

**Your new role**:
As one of the People Business Partner's, you will be responsible for supporting the WAMA Program within the Maritime Sustainment Delivery business. This role is also responsible for contributing to the development of the People Plan which is derived from the Maritime business and HR functional strategy, and for delivering on relevant people actions accordingly.

- Work in partnership with stakeholders across their portfolio to align people solutions to strategy delivery.
- Use data and insights, human capital trends and people analytics to inform development of People solutions.
- Act as a role model to drive a high performance and inclusive culture, and role models inclusive leadership that inspires and promotes BAE Systems Australia's values and the core leadership behaviours.
- Develop others by providing coaching and timely feedback on performance, development and career paths.
- Contribute to the development of the strategic workforce plan with insight on relevant workforce trends and understanding of the business.
- Drive governance to ensure the risk of the organisation is managed for Employee Relations and Industrial Relations matters.
About you
**As an ideal applicant for this role, you'll have**:
- Strong time management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Australian Citizen, eligible to obtain and maintain Defence clearance to a minimum of Baseline.
- Experience in building and maintaining effective relationships at all levels.
- Degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
- Significant knowledge of HR policies, processes (e.g., workforce planning and talent management), and talent management practices
- Significant experience as a Human Resources Business Partner or comparable role/s.
Clearances
As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
