**About the role**
As a valuable member of the Babcock People & Safety Team, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) holds a pivotal position in the successful execution and support of Babcock Asia Pacific's People Strategy.
Assuming the role of trusted advisor, the HRBP provides expert guidance to operational teams. Supported by a Senior Business Partner, the HRBP is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of people-related matters within the portfolio; leveraging your stakeholder engagement and coaching skills to provide recommendations and support to line managers, you will ensure the appropriate and respectful management of sensitive concerns.
As a member of the Business Delivery Leadership team, working hand in hand with the centralised HR Support team, the HRBP actively facilitates the implementation of operational HR plans, overseeing the seamless delivery of HR projects and cyclical activities
.**What you will bring**
- Tertiary qualifications in HR, including at least 2-4 years’ experience in HR Business Partnering or working at a Senior Advisor level.
- Demonstrated experience in employment relations and case management (exposure to industrial relations highly regarded).
- Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills including the ability to work in partnership with stakeholders at various levels of the organisation.
- Strong work ethic and team focused, ability to lean in and support others in the team to ensure we are all succeeding
- Ability to prioritise work and daily activities in a high tempo environment in order to meet deadlines, confidence to seek support when required.
- Experience working in a matrix organisation where direct reporting lines may not be co-located.
- Australian Citizen with a Defence security clearance (or the ability to obtain).
