**Vacancy**: Legal Officer IV, Legal, Governance and Risk Branch
**Location**: Sydney CBD with hybrid and flexible working options.
**Employment**: Temporary 12 months (Talent Pool will be created)
**Salary Range**: Up to $154,190. Package includes salary ($134,483 - $137,071), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

**The Role**

The Legal Officer IV will support the Legal Counsel in providing high quality professional legal services to assist the Ombudsman perform the statutory functions and exercise the statutory powers of the office in a lawful and accountable manner. They will deliver expert, accurate and timely advice or briefings on complex or sensitive legal matters.

- You are a strong communicator. Highly effective communicator and active listener, and through these skills, you readily identify and navigate the needs and requirements across a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external, to actively develop solid working relationships.
- You will be a team player. You can work autonomously while working collaboratively and supporting other members of the team.
- Be admitted or be eligible for admission as a legal practitioner in NSW.
- Be able to provide a current NSW Practising Certificate before you start.
