Finance Officer job for a consultancy business in the Melbourne CBD region on a permanent basis.
**Your new company**
This internationally renowned consultancy company is looking for a Finance Officer to join their finance team on a permanent basis. **Your new role**
In this role you will be doing an all round accounts position. You will be completing the end-to-end process within accounts payable, which includes; processing novices, preparing weekly and monthly payment runs, remittances, supplier reconciliations, handling queries with internal and external stakeholders of businesses and reconciling company credit cards. Once that is completed, you will also be completing the Accounts receivable duties, which will include; daily allocation of payments, assisting with customer invoices, entering invoices into the system, cash and banking receipts, and maintaining the debtors ledger. You will also have exposure to the general duties, which can include end of month reconciliations, bank reconciliations, checking compliance with invoices and assisting the finance team with adhoc duties.
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful, you will need to have experience in a finance role for around 2 years. This experience can be within an account payable, accounts receivable, accounts officer, or finance officer role. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to complete the duties listed above. Additionally, you will need to have strong communication skills and teamwork skills because you will be working very closely within the finance team and also with external stakeholders of the business.
