As the "voice" of our business, you will be the key liaison for coordinating events across our busy restaurants. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional ready to step off the floor and embrace a more strategic and guest-focused position. With your proactive and performance-driven mindset, you’ll ensure smooth event execution while delivering top-tier guest satisfaction. **Key Responsibilities**: - **Event Planning & Coordination**: Lead the planning of weddings, corporate functions, and private parties, ensuring seamless coordination with culinary teams and vendors. - **Entertainment Management**: Curate live performances and themed nights, collaborating with the Operations Manager on entertainment schedules. - **Guest Satisfaction**: Be the point of contact for clients, addressing concerns, and improving service based on feedback. Cultivate lasting relationships to encourage repeat business and brand loyalty. - **Conference & Event Services**: Manage food and beverage arrangements, oversee budgets, and ensure flawless event operations. - **Administrative Duties**: Maintain accurate records, enforce SOPs, and stay updated on industry trends and best practices. - **Sales & Promotion**: Persuasively up-sell venues and event packages, while maintaining a solid understanding of each venue’s menus and promotions. - **Client Liaison**: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their event requirements, preferences, and expectations. Provide exceptional service during the event, ensuring everything runs smoothly and proactively troubleshooting any issues that arise. - **Post-Event Feedback**: Conduct post-event evaluations, gathering client feedback to continuously enhance the event experience. **About You**: - At least 1 year of wedding coordination experience preferred - Strong time management and organisational skills - Excellent verbal and written communication abilities - Keen attention to detail - Passion for the hospitality industry - Ability to resolve issues proactively and maintain a calm, professional demeanor under pressure Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Employee discount Work Location: In person Expected Start Date: 30/09/2024
