Reporting to the Subject Leader of Psychology, the Psychology Lecturer and Tutor position will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of the curriculum, including lectures and tutorials, focusing on topics such as scientific theory and critical thinking, the biology of the mind, child development, adolescence and adulthood, learning, intelligence, personality, social psychology, psychological disorders, therapy, and stress and health.

Additionally, the role involves the preparation and administration of assessments, including marking student essays, presentations, and exams, as well as writing student reports.
- The Psychology Tutor and Lecturer position is a fixed term, 12-month position commencing February 2025

**Please note**: This position involves face to face teaching (no option for online teaching).

**Skills & Experience**

To be considered for this role, you must have:

- An APAC-accredited tertiary qualification in Psychology.
- At least 2 years of lecturing or tutoring experience in Psychology at Foundation Studies, VCE, or University level.
- Lecturing experience is highly desirable, though tutors with at least 2 years of teaching experience are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in preparing and delivering lectures and tutorials, including assessment and feedback.

Please note: This is not a research position, and applicants should be aware that this is a teaching-focused role.

**Salary Range**: Level B2 - C1 FTE $84,922 - $99,020 (dependent on qualifications and experience) plus 11.5% superannuation and 17.5% leave loading.
