Fantastic is looking for an **Inventory Supervisor** to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in our distribution centre operations in our **Wacol**site in Queensland.
**About the Role**:
As an Inventory Supervisor, you will:
- Oversee scheduled stocktakes and cycle count processes.
- Lead investigations into stock discrepancies.
- Ensure accurate stock quantities and locations.
- Collaborate with state Inventory Supervisors.
- Assist the National Inventory Manager in maintaining inventory documentation.
- Role is based in our Wacol site and is a full time role (Monday to Friday) with occasional weekend work required during stocktakes.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Safety First**: Promote a safe working environment by identifying and managing hazards.
- **Team Leadership**: Supervise and mentor the local inventory team, fostering a high-performing and engaged supply chain team.
- **Customer Focus**: Resolve inventory issues promptly, communicate with stakeholders, and improve inventory movement and systems.
- **Operational Excellence**: Conduct cycle counts, investigate inventory discrepancies, and coordinate stocktakes.
- **Community Engagement**: Participate in corporate community initiatives.
**What We're Looking For**:
- **Experience**: Ability to work autonomously with previous experience in the retail warehousing/supply chain industry.
- **Skills**: Intermediate Excel skills, strong Microsoft Office experience, excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Document writing and reporting skills strongly regarded.
- **Attributes**: Highly developed communication skills, attention to detail, team player, and customer-focused. Someone who likes to get involved
- **Licences**: Any licences such as Forklift, LO, High reach etc beneficial, though not essential - must be open to training and obtaining these
