**The Opportunity**

Your role supports UniSuper doing this by leading and driving the recently established Data Office across the dimensions of Enterprise Data Modelling, Data Quality and Data Governance ensuring the right data is in the right place and fit for purpose.

This role will have end to end responsibility for the realisation of the value of data as an enterprise asset and management of risks relating to data. Comfortable working with senior leaders across the organisation you will be collaborating to enable a data informed culture which is proactive in its data risk and governance and ensures trusted data is delivered effectively.
- Key Lead a team of Data specialists in the domains of Data Governance, Data Quality, Records Management and Enterprise Data Modelling ensuring the delivery of the Data & Analytics Strategy
- Establish a Data Risk Framework and approach for managing Data Risks in line with our regulatory standards and practices (including CPG-235)
- Drive the establishment and maintain the practice of conceptual and logical enterprise data modelling for the fund.
- Establish an understanding of UniSuper’s data assets and ensure they are managed effectively, including implementing a process to ensure the tools to support managing Data as an Asset and a Risk are fit for purpose and aligned to the fund’s strategic outcomes.
- Provide direction and support as we execute an organisational document and records management and operationalise a team of Records Management.
- Empower a team to manage the data catalogue, data dictionary and business glossary supporting a data informed culture.
- Define a strategy to drive best practices in reference and master data management
- Support the Head of Data Office in the ongoing realisation of data as an asset.

**About You**

We are looking for individuals who have worked in fast moving transformation environments and are comfortable working with a degree of ambiguity.
- Experience in Data Strategy Design & Implementation - Design, implement and maintain a data management strategy to align organisational actions, plans, and resources with data management objectives.
- Experience in Demand Management - Analyse and proactively manage business demand for new projects, services or modifications to existing data services provided by the Data Office.
- Experience in data related regulatory requirements including CPS 234, CPG 235 per APRA guidelines and standards.
- Strong technical leadership based on industry knowledge and experience and sound knowledge of the regulatory framework under which superannuation funds operate.
- Strong commercial acumen to drive technical and pragmatic conversations with Vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Experience in working with Modern Data Platform capabilities including Data Quality, Data Governance, Records Management tooling along with strong capabilities in Modelling tools such as ERWin.
