**About the role**

This role is located in Happy Valley and reports to the Trade Waste Sampling & Monitoring Coordinator, whilst supporting the Asset, Operation & Delivery Team.

Along with this you will also be responsible for the following:

- Perform sampling services in accordance with established procedures and test methods.
- Ensure sampling activities are representative in accordance with customer requests.
- Develop and maintain accurate chain of customer records for sampling services.
- Monitor and maintain portable monitoring devices, including installation and calibration.
- Liaise with customers to ensure sampling and monitoring services meet their expectations.

**Key requirements of the role include**:

- Essential: _
- Demonstrated experience in liaising with customers on technical matters (for example-technical services, quotes, safety documentation, etc)
- SA Water requires all workers to be double vaccinated against Covid 19.
- Current Drivers Licence - C Class
- Desirable:_
- Knowledge of trade waste and wastewater sampling methods including relevant analytical test methods and sample preservation requirements
- Basic knowledge of 12-volt instrumentation/electronics
- Traffic management qualified
- Confined space qualified
- Any additional trades and tickets will be desirable

Some out of hour’s work and interstate travel may be required as a part of this role.
