**About your new role**:
As an essential member of the Information Technology and Communication (ITC) team, this role entails hands on ITC support, serving as the initial point of contact for Baptistcare Users regarding technology and communication issues.

Under the supervision of the Technology Services Manager, the IT Support Officer and Field Technician guarantees a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and responsiveness to Baptistcare Users. This is achieved through delivering timely, dependable, and efficient support services for technology and communication needs.

**Duties**:

- Provides hardware administration tasks, including:
- Research and evaluation of hardware options
- Disposal of hardware
- Configuration and labelling of goods
- Security and maintaining stock levels on a monthly basis
- Packaging of goods for delivery to remote sites
- Reporting support issues and suggesting improvements
- Taking ownership of support tasks and ensuring timely resolutions
- Escalating support requests beyond agreed timelines or capabilities
- Collaborating with ITC service providers on technical and operational network issues, including tablets and phones
- Participating in weekly communication and regular strategy meetings
- Supporting fixed and mobile technology for local and remote employees

**Skills and Experience**:
**Essential**
- Bachelor’s degree in ITC/Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an ITC Support role, with proficiency in Windows Desktop, Windows Server, and Active Directory
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service
- Capability to undertake travel to various sites as needed
- Actively contributes to the continuous quality improvement of the organisation

**Conditions of Employment**

- Valid Driver’s Licence (Car)
- Willingness to undergo a Pre Employment Medical
- Requires frequent travel to sites
