As a Technical Officer within Anatomy and Pathology, you’ll work 2 days per week ensuring an a high standard of effective and quality technical support to the anatomy team and their teaching activities.

Under the guidance of the Anatomy Manager and Senior Technical Officer, you will assist with the daily operation, organisation, preparation (including embalming), set up and dismantle of materials and equipment for practical anatomy and pathology teaching activities. This includes creating, maintaining and updating the relevant documentation for the department.

This role collaborates with academic staff to deliver truly world-class human anatomy teaching, learning and procedures.

You will also have:

- Successfully completed year 12 education or equivalent and hold a discipline-relevant Certificate/Diploma.
- Ability in handling and working with cadaveric material and demonstrate general knowledge of and an enthusiasm for human anatomy and an ability to carry out duties objectively and with empathy.
- Must be comfortable working with potentially hazardous biologicals including the relevant chemicals relevant to the cadaver/anatomy/histology/pathology area.

**What we can offer**
This is a fixed term (until 30th June 2025), part-time (40%) contract primarily based at the Griffith University Gold Coast. There may be an opportunity to extend to fulltime there after. As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations.

Griffith University’s sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.

**Salary Range**
The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 4 range $71,827 - $75,785 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $84,037 - $88,668 per annum.
