Vet in Schools Coordinator

**Do you want to make a difference to students lives and employment potential and help them on their Trade pathway?**

The VET in Schools Coordinator will work with the PEER VET in Schools Team and stakeholders to grow our VET in schools programs to the highest standards.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Engage strategically with key industry stakeholders with state-wide representation in order to drive and strengthen industry connection with secondary schools
- Collaborate with the VETiS Manager to roll out system wide projects and initiatives
- Represent and assist in the coordination of PEER attendance at Career Expos and Industry Expos
- Provide support to the VETiS Manager as appropriate to pilot and test strategic projects and initiatives
- Develop and maintain effective partnerships between schools, industry, employers, training providers and other relevant State and Federal agencies
- Provide administrative information for reports to the VETiS Manager
- Plan, support and deliver VET Readiness Orientation (VETRO)

**Experience and qualifications**:

- Proven experience creating and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
- Proven ability to self-motivate and work autonomously to manage work priorities, meet
deadlines efficiently and exceed KPI’s
- Excellent planning, organisational, priority setting and time management skills with a high attention to detail
- Minimum of intermediate level of digital literacy across multiple Microsoft suite
- High quality communication and interpersonal skills.

**Desirable**
- Previous experience working in a Registered Training Organisation
- Understanding of or experience working with VET in Schools
- Previous experience working with apprentices/trainees/learners.
- Understanding of pathways into apprenticeships/traineeships.
- TAE Certificate IV.
