ALG is a registered training organisation that has been offering high-quality vocational education and training in the fields of Health and Community Services for over 15 years.

We are currently seeking a **Student Experience Advisor **to join our **Sydney** team.

**About the role**

The role will actively support organising and the management of student events on campus, and campus maintenance including cleaning, repairs, and room set-up

**About you**

You are enthusiastic and is passionate about customer experience who wants to support students in their learning journey. You have a strong work ethic and are keen to learn and grow with the organisation.

You have good interpersonal skills, excellent communication and is able to work autonomously as well as in a team environment.

**Key responsibilities**:
**Student experience**
- Respond to and work to resolve student complaints and enquiries, including maintaining appropriate records
- Support the Student Experience Manager to process tuition fee and other payments in collaboration with the finance team
- Issue student cards & other official student documentation
- Assist in maintaining the student database by ensuring accurate and complete records are entered
- Be the champion of student engagement throughout the student life cycle journey, including the management of formal and informal student events (orientation, graduation, etc.)
- Assist in sending out individual and bulk student communications if required
- Attend and contribute to regular team meetings
- Actively contribute to ALG’s student retention discussions and identify opportunities for improvement
- Supervise student clinic where required

**Campus operations**
- Assist the Student Experience Manager with the day-to-day operations of the campus
- Ensure classrooms and kitchens are maintained to high standards
- Providing general office support including but not limited to arranging couriers, catering, and ordering stationery
- If requested, be the Health and Safety Representative for the campus, including completion of First Aid and Fire Warden Training (at ALG’s cost

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Minimum of one (1) or more years of experience in customer service
- Experience in a similar role within an education provider preferred, but not essential
- Diploma qualification or higher preferred
- Demonstrable organisational and planning skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise to ensure the successful completion of all responsibilities and tasks
- Ability to effectively engage in conversations and support students
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with proactive work habits with a demonstrated eye for detail
- Experience with Microsoft Office environment
- Demonstrated experience working with student management systems, learning management systems and customer service systems preferred, but not essential
