**About Us**
CYPRESS TYRES NSW is a fast-growing supplier and distributor of premium tyres across New South Wales. We pride ourselves on delivering quality products and outstanding customer service to retailers, mechanics, and fleet operators. As we expand, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our operations team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitor and evaluate the procurement function’s performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and responsiveness.
- Conduct market research to analyse consumer demand, industry trends, and purchasing behaviour to support strategic procurement planning.
- Coordinate with suppliers, internal teams, overseas manufacturers, and logistics providers to collect, verify, and manage procurement-related data and updates.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals, including budgeting, forecasting, and supplier planning.
- Collaborate with the Director and Sales team to confirm and prioritize purchase requests, especially from major clients such as local supermarkets.
- Assess, compare, and select suitable suppliers based on price, quality, lead time, and reliability, identifying alternative sources when necessary.
- Execute procurement contracts, manage negotiations, and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with terms and quality standards.
- Oversee end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, order processing, international shipping, customs clearance, and last-mile delivery.
- Design and implement cost-saving initiatives and procurement efficiency improvements without compromising service quality.
- Supervise inventory control and ensure optimal stock levels are maintained to meet business demands.
- Manage documentation workflows, including purchase orders, invoices, billing, delivery schedules, shipment tracking, and cost monitoring.

**Required Experience and Skills**
- At least 2 years’ experience in a relevant role
- Knowledge of strategic sourcing methodology
- The ability to gather and analyse data and information
- Solid judgment with ability to make sound decisions
- Good planning and numeracy skills
- Sensitivity on custom regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be punctual, organised, motivated and detail oriented

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Girraween NSW 2145
