**Overview**:
Clover Care Disability Services is seeking dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our team, working primarily with young teens aged 14 to 17. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about providing quality, person-centered support that empowers young clients to thrive in their communities. Our support workers make a real difference by helping participants access meaningful community experiences, build independence, and engage in daily activities with confidence.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Community Access**: Accompany and support teens in accessing the community, including social outings, appointments, and recreational activities.
- **Personal Care**: Assist with personal care needs, such as showering and daily grooming, to support dignity and independence.
- **Meal Preparation**: Provide basic cooking support and nutritional guidance to encourage healthy eating habits.
- **Sporting and Physical Activities**: Engage in physical and sporting activities with participants, promoting wellness and social engagement.
- **Behavior Management**: Use positive behavior support strategies to manage behaviors as they arise, ensuring safety and well-being.

**Requirements**:

- **Vehicle**: Must have a reliable car with comprehensive insurance.
- **Credentials**: Blue Card and Yellow Card required (or eligibility to obtain).
- **Education**: Certificate III in Disability or equivalent is recommended but not essential.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $32.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

**Language**:

- English Fluently (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid & CPR Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)
- Certificate III in disability (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
