**About the role**:
We have an opportunity for a Communications Business Partner to join our expanding Officeworks team for a 12-month contract reporting to the Internal Communications and Events Manager. If you understand the importance of clear and engaging communication, have impeccable attention to detail and strong stakeholder engagement - this role is perfect for you.

Currently, this position is based at our Support Office in East Bentleigh, Victoria and we support a hybrid work approach (2-3 days on-site and working from home) and we will offer flexible working hours for the role.

This exciting role will be responsible for partnering with the business to implement internal communications strategies and action plans to inform, engage and empower our team members through timely, effective and relevant communications and events.

In addition, your responsibilities will include:

- Managing and leading communications for key projects across the business.
- Assisting with reporting to ensure all internal communications campaigns support with delivering business changes and increasing team member engagement.
- Proactively building strong and positive relationships with key stakeholders and business units to ensure timely, aligned and effective internal communications.
- Assisting in planning, content development and running of internal events.

**About you**:
With 5+ years of previous experience working in internal and corporate communications, you will be able to develop strong partnerships with internal stakeholders in order to achieve business and cultural objectives.

In addition, you will be able to demonstrate:

- Tertiary qualification in communications, public relations or similar.
- Excellent communications and editing skills - interpersonal, written and presentation.
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiating skills - ability to successfully engage with a large and diverse network of internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Proven experience developing and implementing internal communications strategies.
- Comfortable juggling multiple priorities at any one time.
- Strong project management and administrative skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment.
- Engaging, self-motivated, driven, positive attitude.
