**CLIENT**

Our client is a market leading Australian PE backed business with a mandate for growth as they navigate through increased demand and expansion opportunities.

**ROLE**

We are seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to provide analysis and insight to assist the business meet its financial objectives. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will be responsible for providing key divisions with financial forecasts, insights and analysis, decision support and commercial advice. You will also provide commercial analysis and decision support relating to the Group’s pricing strategy, and provide analytical support to a number of business process optimisation and efficiency projects.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities to optimise operational performance through cost efficiencies, increasing productivity and utilisation, delivering business process optimisation and other initiatives to improve the Group’s profit.
- Analyse opportunities for business growth including an assessment of the risk and return proposition, alignment to the Group’s strategy, capital expenditure requirements and organisational capability to execute.
- Assist with Financial and Commercial Due Diligence and post transaction integration projects for the delivery of M&A projects.
- Oversee the compilation of the Divisional annual budgets.
- Provide decision support to the business on Capital Expenditure and Operating Expenditure proposals.
- Assist the Head of FP&A to maintain the Group’s Corporate Planning and forecasting requirements and provide reporting of actual vs forecast performance, identifying the nature of variances and recommendations to mitigate future unfavourable variances.
- Provide Financial modelling support to the business as required
- Provide commercial advice and support to the business and contribute to strategic decision making.
- Consideration of the financial and commercial terms of draft contractual agreements with customers and suppliers, to ensure agreements are aligned to the strategic plan and meet policy and risk requirements.
- Provide decision making support to the business on its pricing and product packaging strategy to maximise profit from pricing for: ancillary fees, new product commercialisation, M&A product integration, and customer tenders.
- Develop and implement an overall Pricing strategy.

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Strong skills in financial forecasting and complex Microsoft Excel use.
- Ability to analyse and communicate financial information.
- Strong communication and negotiations skills required for regular interactions with senior executives.
- Problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience working in an FP&A/Decision support capacity
- Pricing experience is a must
- Experience supporting M&A highly desirable

**EDUCATION**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce or Finance
- CA, CPA or CFA
