Located at our global head office in Kilsyth, Melbourne, this role will have responsibility for managing the product implementation and evolution of our Back of Ute portfolio, a key category of the ARB product range. Through great analytical, planning and collaboration skills, the Product Manager’s purpose is to grow the portfolio through new product development, and then provide strategic support of those products in all ARB markets. Key to this is ensuring any products introduced exceed our customers’ expectations.

**The role**:
Reporting to the Global Head of Products, the Product Manager will be responsible for the development of new product concepts and the evolution of existing products that enhance the Back of Ute and Back of Wagon for 4X4 vehicles. These include Canopy, Tonneaus, Drawer systems, tub-liners, and tailgate assist.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Determine market opportunities for the portfolio with domestic and international markets.
- Drive and facilitate approved new product development.
- Analyse consumer demand and create product forecasts.
- Maintain and update all portfolio product specifications i.e., product updates, technical specifications, owner’s manuals, catalogue and price lists.
- Ensure appropriate marketing communication materials and support are provided.
- Provide technical, sales and other support to the ARB network and customers.
- Working with existing ARB Canopy assembly locations in Australia, NZ, Thailand, Czech republic and the UK.
- Assist in the creation and delivery of training and development tools to support the product portfolio.
- Exceptional analytical skills to evaluate relevant portfolio information.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence across a broad range of stakeholders.
- Advanced communication skills, including the ability to present and articulate performance and proposals.
- Proven skills and experience in project managing product development pathways across an organisation.
- Technical understanding to the extent that engineered and manufactured products can be understood.
- Knowledge of ARB’s current product range as well as experience in the camping and caravanning industries will be highly regarded.
- Degree qualified in Engineering or Business highly regarded.
