**What this opportunity involves**:
As part of our on site team based in Canberra, you will oversee the National Switchboard on behalf on the client and manage client requests and expectations. You will join a close-knit, co-operative team and you will learn and grow your expertise among the client portfolio.
Working with the on-site team, you will provide consistent customer service in a professional and friendly manner, take part in ongoing team co-operation and knowledge sharing, and deliver dependable service at all times.
**Snapshot of the role**:
Answering and transferring externals calls to appropriate
departments
Transferring internal calls
Placing international phone calls for Employees to clients
overseas
Updating Employees contact details on switchboard, using the
Human Services Intranet Phone Book including, updated address,
mobile numbers or Login ID
Arranging and confirming phone line bookings, cancellations and modifications (using MS Excel, Outlook and provided templates)
Contribute to maintaining a safe and effective working environment
Effective participation in a small team environment
A co-operative team player, with a high level of customer service and patience
Proficient written and verbal communication
Experience with MS Outlook, Excel and Word (and basic computer literacy)
Able to work well under pressure during busy periods and be ambitious about filling the quiet time on slower days
Able to work well unsupervised and follow provided instructions
