**Experienced Interior Designer Position - SPAX Architecture**

SPAX Architecture is a boutique design firm specialising in single dwellings and retail fit-out projects. We are currently seeking an Experienced Interior Designer to join our collaborative and creative team. At SPAX, we provide a supportive environment that fosters professional development and long-term career growth.

**About the Role**:
**Key Skills and Attributes**:

- Approximately 5+ years of experience in interior design, with a focus on retail fit-out projects
- Proven experience working within major Australian shopping centres (e.g., liaising with centre management for compliance and approvals)
- Advanced proficiency in Revit (essential)
- Degree in interior design from a recognised Australian university
- Strong understanding of the NCC, Australian Standards, and compliance requirements for retail spaces
- Passionate about design with excellent communication and client interaction skills
- Ability to develop detailed construction and fit-out documentation
- Skilled in managing external consultants, negotiating with local authorities, and overseeing contractors
- Strong work ethic, “can-do” attitude, and eagerness to learn
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
- Must be an Australian resident or hold a valid Australian work permit
