3 month temporary role, AP and AR, $35-40ph + super depending on experience

**Your new company**

Our client, a large organisation in the engineering/consultancy space have recently gone through an acquisition and are seeking additional support within their finance team to assist with workload through the transition period.

**Your new role**
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, maintaining the general ledger, and reconciling accounts.
- Prepare and process invoices, accounts payable/receivable, and expense reports.
- Prepare and reconcile a high level of intercompany transactions
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliations
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing accurate financial data and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, financial regulations, and company policies.
- Assist in conducting internal audits and prepare necessary documentation for external audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Generate various financial reports and analysis to support decision-making.
- Assist in payroll & timesheet administration and employee expense reimbursements.
- Assist with the setup and migration of data from MYOB to Xero, WFM, Egencia & Chrome River
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and exercise discretion in handling sensitive data.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Strong experience in a similar role with both AP and AR.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Intermediate - Advanced Excel skills
