Accounts Receivable role paying up to $75k + Super

**Your new company**

Our client is new to Sydney and is building an accounting team after being originally based in Perth. They are looking for a permanent Accounts Receivable Officer to join their growing team. The role is office based, to ensure the team is able to support each other while it grows.

The role is an essential part of the business and manages and controls the good financial standing of the company with its commitment to customer service to its clients.

**Your new role**

Reporting to the Financial Controller, your main responsibilities will be;
- Solving customer queries and issues
- Receipting, allocating and reconciliation of payments to customer’s accounts
- Verify and accurately post all payments to the correct invoice/s
- Reconciliation of accounts receivable ledger, bank accounts, 3rd Party Payment (e.g. Stripe)
- Investigate and solve problems with incorrect payments/funds allocation
- Report on Aged Receivables plus other ad hoc reporting where applicable
- Escalate customers’ issues to management
- Refer debts to third party collection agencies when necessary
- Support the month end process
- Assist the broader Finance team with ad hoc tasks

**Experience**:

- Minimum 3 years of experiences in similar role
- Understanding of logistic/transportation/warehousing business and its specificities
- Accounting qualification (Diploma level) preferred
- Positive attitude / Sense of Responsibilities & Commitment
- Proactivity / Teamwork & Cooperation
- Analytical skills
- Ability to listen and active problem-solving skills
