**About this role**

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-focused Accounts Payable Officer for a short-term casual position (5-6 weeks) to support our Finance team.

In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for end-to-end accounts payable processing, including invoice entry, supplier reconciliations, payment preparation, and supporting accurate financial records. Working closely with the Financial Accountant, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring payments are processed efficiently and accurately, supporting our commitment to excellence in service delivery.

**About You**

You’re an experienced accounts payable professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’re accurate, organised, and pride yourself on your ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work. With strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset, you build productive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders alike.

**Essential criteria**:

- 2-5 years’ experience in an accounts payable role
- Solid understanding of AP processes, reconciliations, and supplier management
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience using accounting software (Epicor preferred)
- High attention to detail with the ability to process large volumes of data accurately
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills

**Desirable**:

- Experience working in healthcare or a similarly complex, regulated environment
- Familiarity with GST compliance in invoice processing
