**BGIS **, a global leader in facility management and real estate services, is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented **Accounts Payable Officer **to join our finance team in **Adelaide, SA **. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Accurately and efficiently process vendor invoices.
- Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies.
- Communicate with internal departments and external suppliers to resolve inquiries and issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Maintain organized, up-to-date records of invoices, payments, and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

**Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Officer or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in a property or corporate real estate environment, or at a senior level in a similarly complex industry, is highly desirable.MRI software experience is an advantage.
