**Transport Manager (ANZSCO: 149413 Transport Company Manager) - Full-time/Permanent**

DCI Electrical Services (WA) Pty Ltd, a leading provider of electrical & civil services to the mining industry in Western Australia, is seeking an experienced, qualified Transport Manager to manage.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Create policies or procedures for logistics activities
- Plan or implement consignment flow management systems
- Regularly communicate with internal stakeholders, identifying/resolving their needs and quote on pricing for ongoing and ad-hoc jobs
- Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, service logs, or training or safety records
- Coordinate activities associated with the loading and unloading of consignments in an appropriate manner, using correct vehicle type and equipment
- Organise the purchase/lease of vehicles, parts and fuel
- Schedule transportation on a daily and weekly basis
- Ensure the appropriateness of materials - considering risks, hazards etc, for transportation
- Record and report maintenance and repair needs for vehicles and equipment
- Keep organised records of vehicles, schedules and completed orders
- Ensure regular safety audits on vehicles and equipment
- Monitor and report on transportation costs and recommend actions to reduce costs
- Organise training for employees (e.g. proper use and handling of materials)
- Stay up-to-date with safety regulations
- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, and other issues

**Requirements**:

- AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in a business discipline.
- At least two years of relevant experience
- Current manual C class drivers' licence
- Current HR licence desirable.
- Have a strong work ethic
- Ability to work successfully within a team, autonomously and unsupervised
- Ability to complete a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
