**About the role**:
As a Communications Advisor, you will play a vital role in providing strategic communication services to technical and professional staff. Your expertise will be essential in facilitating community engagement, managing media relations, handling issues, and nurturing stakeholder relationships. Your creative approach will empower you to devise and execute effective communication strategies that ensure successful outcomes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, and assess best practices in communication and engagement strategies, tailored to different communities and stakeholders.
- Provide communication support and advice to executive management, managers, and staff in media and issues management, risk assessment, and community engagement.
- Deliver training, advice, and support to enhance communication skills and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders and the community.
- Develop and implement communication strategies, activities, procedures, and policies to align with the project team's strategic objectives.

**About you**:

- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
- Proven experience in strategic communications, community engagement, and media relations.
- Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in managing events and liaising with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with public governance frameworks and compliance standards.
