The Accessibility & Inclusion Advisor plays a pivotal role in driving this commitment forward by providing expert advice, guidance, and practical solutions that enhance the university’s approach to diversity, inclusion, and accessibility. This role has a focus on supporting individual students and provides expert guidance and advice to staff, strengthening institutional capability and ensuring the university is proactive and confident in implementing best practices for accessibility and inclusion.

In this role, you will engage with staff and students to identify and address barriers to participation, ensuring equitable access to education and employment opportunities. You will work closely with educators, professional staff, and senior leadership to build knowledge, confidence, and capability in making reasonable adjustments and accommodations. By offering expert consultation and proactive outreach, you will help embed inclusive practices across the university, aligning with strategic objectives and compliance requirements.

Beyond direct support, you will support strategic initiatives and collaborate with key stakeholders to influence policies and drive systemic change. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring Bond University is a leader in accessibility and inclusion, creating a campus culture where all individuals feel valued and supported.

**About the person**:
You are an expert in providing guidance on inclusion, reasonable adjustments, and accommodations for diverse needs in learning and teaching and the broader university environment. Your ability to partner effectively across the university to conduct gap analyses, assess risks, and implement best-practice frameworks with key stakeholders will be crucial in shaping the university’s approach to accessibility.

Exceptional communication and collaboration skills enable you to influence and build confidence among students and staff at all levels, fostering a culture of inclusion. You have experience in designing and delivering training to enhance institutional capability and embed inclusive practices. Additionally, knowledge of Work Health and Safety and Risk Assessment principles will be advantageous.

**Salary details**:
The salary for the position ranges between $109,525.30 to $112,653.85 annum, commensurate with skills, qualifications and experience, plus 12% superannuation.
