About the Role
The purpose of this position is to provide assistance and support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and their families across Redland Hospital during their hospitalisation and follow up treatment.
The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Hospital Liaison Officers work collaboratively with the broader multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the provision of appropriate and culturally sensitive services which contribute to improved health outcomes and the reduction of health inequalities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
