**About the Position**

This is an exciting time to join us as we embark on our growth journey with several recently announced mergers. We are, therefore, looking to recruit an experienced Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Manager to help with our growth plans.
- This is an outstanding opportunity for a M&A and investments specialist looking to move inhouse
- This position is a highly influential style role and reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

- $150k - $170k base + super + bonus on all transactions

**Overview of the Role**
- Actively hunting for new single site, and multi-site bolt on acquisitions
- Identifying and working closely with our financial sponsors on more transformative opportunities
- Acting as a lead across the deals pricing / identifying negotiation factors for purchase price and deal structuring
- Analysing financial and operational results of businesses to be acquired
- Project managing and coordination of the due diligence process across the various streams involved (Finance, Commercial, Legal)
- Acting as an overall relationship manager with the newly acquired business and being involved across the integration to the Operations team.
- Liaising with Marketing on ongoing campaigns to attract M&A opportunities

**Your background**
- 4 - 8 years’ experience as a professional accountant, lawyer, or analyst
- Practical valuation and/or due diligence experience is advantageous (be it in practice or industry)
- Knowledge of healthcare and healthcare deals is desirable
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence with strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Track record of demonstrating the ability to make a difference in past roles and ability to identify, model and be contribute to growth
- A team player, that can work cross functionally to support effective deal hunting and integrations.
