The Opportunity
Are you ready to shape the future of one of Australia's leading property groups? This is your chance to join Stockland's high-performing M&A team and play a pivotal role in delivering strategic growth through transformative transactions.
Based in our Sydney Head Office and reporting to the Head of Mergers & Acquisitions, you'll contribute to Stockland's long-term success by driving analysis and execution of complex capital markets transactions – including mergers, acquisitions, capital partnerships, and divestments.
This is a unique opportunity to work on high-profile deals, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and gain exposure to strategic decision-making at the highest level.
What You'll Do
- Lead financial modelling, valuation, and portfolio analysis for mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and divestments.
- Prepare high-impact presentations and board papers for senior leadership and the Board.
- Coordinate due diligence processes with internal teams and external advisors.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to influence outcomes and deliver strategic objectives.
- Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive team culture that values innovation and integrity.
- Ensure CR&S and HS&E considerations are embedded in all capital transaction opportunities.
About You
- Degree-qualified in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline with a strong quantitative focus.
- Experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or capital markets – ideally with exposure to M&A or strategic transactions.
- Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills, with strong proficiency in Excel.
- Exceptional analytical ability combined with commercial acumen and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills – able to present complex ideas clearly and confidently to senior stakeholders.
