Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation: - Key Responsibilities: - Using strong business acumen to drive the top and bottom-line number and deliver market share gains. - Drive account growth and profitability by assessing and building on areas of momentum; capitalise on product/pricing opportunities and course correct with innovative sales tactics to improve sales performance with account in partnership with Sales Planning. - Develop short - and long-term strategic plan in conjunction with the account; leveraging account insight and goals, market and competitor insights, to achieve sales targets and align with brand and category objectives. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with all internal departments and assigned accounts. - Deliver on time reporting and forecasting for all required reports and documents to appropriate parties. - Continuous monitoring of order book including supporting cost effective and reliable delivery to the account. - Analyse & Grow existing account base to meet future growth targets through distribution growth. - Measure progress on KPI’s - Manage, track, and resolve customer compliance/account operations issues - Execute instore training and having the ability to invest significant time to build a strong rapport with all stores within your assigned territory. - Key Relationships: - Product & Sales Manager - Commercial Manager - Marketing & CTC Manager - Assigned External Accounts - Customer Service - Account Managers - Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: - Account Management with proven track record of successfully managing a customer base - Strong interpersonal skills (e.g. communication, negotiation) - Proven methodological skills (e.g. Business planning, strategic development) - Strong functional skills (e.g. Sales, Customer Service, Finance) - High degree of commercial and business acumen knowledge - Mental flexibility, initiative and determination - A keen passion for golf and a sound understanding of the golf industry - Ability to travel - Requisite Education & Experience / Minimum Qualifications: - Field sales experience, within a consumer goods company in the sporting goods/fashion industry.
