Great opportunity to work with this leader in their field We are seeking a Maintenance Fitter to join this leading Food/Pharmaceutical manufacturing company in the South Eastern Suburbs. As an experienced Maintenance Fitter you will be responsible for preventative and breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting and project works.

The role is being offered on a day shift basis working Monday-Friday, plus assisting every couple of months on a week of afternoon shift, there is paid regular overtime and additional shift penalty, potential to earn attractive $$$.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Maintenance, repair and continuous improvement of existing equipment
- Fault finding and troubleshooting
- Preventative maintenance as per maintenance plan
- Working on new projects
- General duties as required

Skills & Attributes:

- Experience in an FMCG environment highly desirable
- Australian Trade qualifications in Fitting and or Mechanical Engineering
- Restricted Electrical advantageous
- Strong interpersonal skills and team player
- Experienced in pneumatics
- Availability to do overtime

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Fitter who enjoys working with a committed team and hoping to secure long term work. The role is being offered on a permanent full time basis or there is the option of initially commencing on a labour hire basis and converting to permanency at 3/6 months if you feel the role is right for you. As an integral part of this maintenance team you will be working for this global leader. A performance bonus is also offered on a yearly basis based on company performance in the market.
