**The Company**
This Australian owned, national wholesaler & retailer have been operating for over 40 years in the leisure industry. They have a large, dynamic product offering and are currently on a growth trajectory. This role will be responsible for driving the strategy and execution of the Sales & Marketing activities for the business, to ensure sales, profitability and growth targets are achieved.
**The Role**
The key requirements for this role are:
- Develop and implement cohesive strategic plans across the organisation.
- Work in collaboration with the Branch managers to ensure the successful implementation of developed sales strategies.
- Manage existing and prospective relationships with clients and key accounts.
- Review sales data by customer group, state/territory, product, category and identify opportunities for growth.
- Lead and develop the Marketing team, working closely with purchasing and technical teams to determine new product opportunities and define new products.
- Oversee all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, EDM, social media and display advertising campaigns.
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
- Oversee strategic projects including Website Development, Brand Strategy, Promotional campaigns and Reputation Management.
- Collaborate with sales teams to ensure cohesive marketing strategies for non-digital sales platforms and dealer partnerships.
- Identify trends and insights and optimise spend and performance based on the insights.
- Ensuring all stakeholders are provided with appropriate information to promote new and existing products.

**Background and Experience**:
- Ideally a Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
- Significant sales experience and proven success ideally working within the wholesale market sector, including a sound understanding of the process around wholesale, retail and internet sales.
- Ideally some experience in leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, EDM, social media and/or display advertising campaigns.
- A strong business acumen and proven ability to develop and deliver around sales and also, ideally, marketing strategies.
- Passionate, results-driven and action-orientated.
- A proven approach to strategic selling and the ability to form outstanding commercial relationships.
