Apprenticeships R Us is recruiting multiple 1st Year **Spare Parts Interpreters** for a workshop in the Wetherill Parkarea.

Spare parts interpreter apprentices will learn how to identify the make, model, and variations of motor vehicles and automotive parts, as well as process and place customer orders.

**As a Spare Parts Interpreter apprentice, you will learn to**:

- Talk to customers to find out their exact needs and recommend the appropriate parts
- Identify the make, model and variations of motor vehicles and automotive equipment
- Regularly check databases to identify and locate parts
- Ordering parts from the warehouse to external suppliers
- Calculating tax, discounts and prices
- Preparing invoices for the sale of the stock
- Processing cash and credit transactions
- Collecting, packing and dispatching or delivering of ordered parts
- Participating in stocktaking and updating computer data
- Assisting customers in repairing or replacing parts
- Setting up merchandise displays

**As an apprentice, you will receive**:

- Quality training and mentoring in all aspects of the parts interpreting trade

**Essential Requirements**:

- An interest in the automotive industry
- Be able to work in a dynamic, fast paced team environment
- Fit, reliable and have a desire to learn
- Be a Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

**Job Type**: Apprenticeship

**Salary**: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
