***About the Opportunity**

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the **Children’s Audiology Service** team as a** Cochlear Implant Lead, **where you will be responsible for:
- Undertaking complex infant and child audiological assessments- Providing high level audiological diagnosis and management to patients and their families referred to the Children's Audiology Services and the Paediatric Cochlear Implant Program- Providing information and advice to patients, their families, and other stakeholders on the suitability of available treatment options including implantable technology-
- Specialised cochlear implant skill set with an ability to mentor, train and develop reflective practise in other members of the Audiology and Cochlear Implant team**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will have the ability to:

- ensure the provision of high quality, efficient and effective Paediatric Audiology and Cochlear Implant services
- proven skill set in specialised assessment of patients and cochlear implants
- provision of high-quality written reports/assessment to be included in case notes
- assess and manage referred infants and children, with additional disabilities or complex medical conditions, via telehealth or face-to-face appointments.
