**Venue Manager - New Victoria Tavern**
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large Sydney based hotel group which encourages career growth opportunities.
New Victoria Tavern is part of the Sonnel Hospitality Group which owns and operates 18 venue throughout Sydney. Whilst we have been established in the hotel industry for more than 30 years, we are always looking to increase our hotel portfolio, thus ensuring on-going career development and promotion, for those employees that display positive intent, respect and a willingness to learn.
We are about to embark on an exciting journey at New Vic Tavern which will see a renovation taking place and will be an amazing time to join the group to lead this transition phase through to a complete rejuvenation & opening of a state-of-the-art venue.

Key responsibilities include:
- Creating a culture where the team feel safe, valued and enjoy coming to work.
- Delivering game-changing customer experiences.
- Using initiative to ensure sales targets are met.
- Extensive knowledge of TAB and Gaming Operations.
- Working closely with senior management, support office who share the same vision.
- Compliance, stock management, training and developing of the team
- Managing the day to day operations of the venue.
The successful applicant will:
- Have proven experience in a similar role.
- Have a strong understanding of the hotel industry, market trends, customer service standards and how to develop and implement them.
- Have the ability to engage and build relationships with local/regular customers
- Understand the importance of leading by example in a professional yet personable manner
- Have a passion and knowledge of beer, wine, spirits and cocktails.
