**who are you?**:
As an Account Executive at Tecala, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients while driving new business growth into those accounts across our Managed Services, Cloud, Security, Data & AI, and Automation offerings. This role requires a balance of proactive account management, relationship building, and cross-sell / upsell capability.
You will work closely with technical specialists, marketing, and service delivery teams to pitch and deliver solutions that address client challenges, strengthen long-term partnerships, and achieve revenue targets.
You will also be tasked to ensure our net revenue retention and customer retention are maximised in your patch of accounts.
This is a client-facing role that suits someone with prior IT managed services sales experience who is ready to step up and manage existing customer relationships and hungry to grow the customer share of wallet. Key responsibilities will include:
**Account Management & Client Growth**
- Manage and grow a defined portfolio of Tecala SME accounts.
- Build trusted relationships with key client stakeholders to ensure Tecala remains a strategic partner.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across Managed Services, Security, Communications, Automation, Data & AI, and Cloud.
- Understand client needs and develop tailored proposals that provide clear, innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure that proposals meet both client expectations and company standards.
- Partner with service delivery teams to ensure client satisfaction and contract compliance.
- Partner with solution consultancy to deliver a business aligned Strategic Technology Roadmap
- Negotiate and close deals while ensuring compliance with all contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular account management meetings, presenting account level insights, sales opportunities and solution roadmaps.
- Leverage innovative marketing campaigns that enhance brand visibility, engagement and cut through.
- Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue sales targets.
**Required skills and experience**:
- Experience or knowledge of Hybrid Cloud, IT Managed Services, Security Services, Networks / Communications and Automation, Data and AI
- 3+ years of experience in a IT or Managed Services sales or a related role.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Proven ability to create and manage an effective Account Plan Strategy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Dynamics) and sales development tools.
- High level of motivation, initiative, and accountability.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders within client organisations.
- Committed to understanding and meeting the needs of clients.
- Capable of developing and executing effective sales strategies.
