**Job Summary**

Blazetech is a progressive fire servicing company on the Gold Coast and with strong growth in the last year we are in the need for a Sprinkler Technician to join us.

We are looking for a suitable qualified Sprinkler technician / trades person ready to take the next step in their career.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Service, test, and maintain:

- Fire sprinkler systems (wet, dry, pre-action)
- Fire hydrant and hose reel systems
- Fire service pump sets (diesel and electric)
- Fire Detection and warning systems
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with AS1851 and other relevant Australian Standards.
- Use Uptick to manage service reports, log maintenance actions, and ensure accurate compliance documentation.
- Identify and rectify system faults, providing high-level diagnostics and solutions.
- Communicate professionally with clients, site representatives, and internal teams.
- Participate in after-hours call-out roster as required.
- Mentor junior technicians when needed and contribute to maintaining high standards across the team.

Assisting the owner with monthly / 6 monthly fire service checks including, extinguishers, hose reels, hydrants, emergency and exit light testing. Along with fire detection.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Licensed Sprinkler Fitter with significant industry experience (minimum 5+ years preferred).
- Extensive experience in the service and maintenance of fire sprinkler, hydrant, and hose reel systems.
- In-depth understanding of fire service pump sets and associated controls.
- Strong understanding of AS1851 and relevant compliance frameworks.
- Construction White Card.
- Current driver's license.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
