**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy aligned with the company's objectives and target audience.
- Lead engagements with external agencies and contractors to deliver media releases and execute on ongoing marketing strategy, including developing relationships with key media outlets and journalists in the deep tech space and securing media coverage for company announcements.
- Lead the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote the brand, CEO and other key staff across a range of forums and channels.
- Manage the company’s communication channels, including social media presence, company website and press releases, ensuring clarity and consistency in messaging and brand identity across all channels.
- Participate in the preparation of presentations and communication materials for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with various teams across the company to developing marketing collateral and thought leadership, as part of a content strategy.
- Identify and nurture industry partnerships and speaking opportunities for company representatives e.g. at major conferences.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and major announcements from government and companies in the quantum computing ecosystem
- Contribute to a positive team culture and foster a collaborative working environment.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a marketing and communications role with proven results, preferably within a startup, high growth technology company or deep tech company
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and a willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced start-up environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
