We are seeking a full-time apprentice for our Plastering Company for an immediate start in Hobart Tasmania.

**COMPANY PROFILE**

Hi-Lite Plaster Pty Ltd specialise in commercial supply, fix and set with top quality work. We use Knauf plasterboard and insulation and local Australian products. Safety is of great importance to us.

**THE ROLE**

You will be learning the trade of Drywall Plastering whilst completing Certificate 3. You will become a skilled professional in the field of plasterboard installation and finishing.

**Skills to be learnt**:

- Learning the basics about different properties of plasterboard and their uses, tools and equipment used in the installation and finishing process.
- Installation - measuring cutting and installing, securing boards to framing structures ensuring that they are level, plumb and properly aligned.
- Taping and Joining: creating smooth and seamless joints between adjacent boards.
- Surface finishing: sanding, feathering and skim coating.

**KEY SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS**
- Living in Australia (available in Hobart Tasmania)
- Fit and healthy
- Punctual and reliable
- Wanting to learn the trade
- Good communication skills
