Here at Simmons built we have an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in carpentry. Our team is expanding, and we have a position for a junior apprentice.

We are seeking someone who is motivated and reliable to be involved with working on a range of building projects throughout Hobart and surrounds that include new homes - from frame to fit out, decks and pergolas

Desirable Requirements:

  • Minimum Year 10 schooling
  • Eagerness to learn new skills
  • Positive approach to workplace safety
  • Positive can do attitude
  • White card
  • Cert 2 in construction
  • Good communication skills
  • Physically fit and willing to take a pre employment medical
  • Presentable appearance

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Must be an Australian Citizen or have the right to work in Australia
  • Must have a Drivers License or be willing to get one
