**Position: Experienced Dental Assistant/Immediate Start**

**Location: Choice Dental** - Established for over 25 years, we are a fully accredited, patient-focused practice offering a broad range of services, including Preventative, Restorative, Orthodontics, Implant, and Cosmetic Dentistry. **About the Role**:

- **Flexibility**: There’s potential for additional shifts and longer hours, allowing you to increase your schedule based on availability and performance

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide chairside assistance to our Dentists & Oral Health Therapists
- Maintain a sterile environment by performing sterilisation duties in line with current infection control protocols
- Assist with the preparation of dental surgeries and patient charting
- Offer administrative support including HICAPS payments, answering calls, and responding to patient inquiries
- Deliver outstanding customer service, helping patients feel comfortable and cared for

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Certificate III in Dental Assisting (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of Dental Assistant experience
- In-depth knowledge of sterilisation and infection control procedures
- Excellent attention to detail, safety awareness, and time management skills
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with dental software and HICAPS is a plus
- Compassionate with a focus on patient care
