**About the role**:
The Digital Content Team is responsible for the delivery of strategic and targeted digital content across the department’s corporate websites and intranet. The Digital Content Team Lead works with the Manager, Digital Communications and Engagement and the Digital UX and Development Team Lead to develop and maintain the department’s corporate websites and intranet as user-friendly, easy to use resources for internal and external users.

Overseeing a team of Digital Content Designers, the Digital Content Team Lead contributes to the development of and drives the implementation of the department’s digital content strategy. This includes the quality assurance, accuracy and maintenance of the content across the department’s digital platforms. The Digital Content Team Lead also manages the Digital Content Team’s workload, forward planning and prioritisation to ensure the delivery of digital content to achieve agreed targets, timeframes and styles, that contribute to the strategic priorities of the department.

**Qualifications**:
**Essential**: Minimum 8 years’ experience working within a digital communications role, and experience working in a large and complex government agency. Experience with DXPs or enterprise-level CMS, SEO and WCAG 2.1.

**Desirable**: Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing/communications, web development, accessibility or user experience.

**Special conditions**:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

**Remuneration**:
ASO7 $108,109 - 116,864 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading.
