**About the role**:
As a **Legal Support Officer** in the CCAC team, you will provide critical administrative and legal support to our solicitors, directly enabling the effective prosecution of **County Court Appeals** and complex **Contravention Proceedings** in the County and Supreme Courts.
This is a dynamic role where your attention to detail and efficiency will ensure the smooth operation of high-profile legal matters.
**Your key contributions will include**:
- ; **Legal Administration**: Processing and managing police briefs, court documents, and witness details for County Court appeals.
- ; **File Management**: Maintaining and closing files, updating the OPP case management system, and creating accurate, well-formatted, and indexed hand-up briefs.
- ; **Stakeholder Liaison**: Acting as a crucial point of contact, liaising with Corrections Victoria, police, counsel, and other government agencies.
- ; **Court Support**: Assisting with the preparation of court documents, drafting eBriefs, issuing subpoenas, and compiling court books.
- ; **Continuous Improvement**: Actively seeking opportunities to enhance our processes, systems, and overall efficiency within the division.
We are looking for someone with a demonstrated ability to provide high-level administrative support in a confidential and sensitive environment. **You will need**:
