**About the Project**:
John Holland are delighted to have been selected to deliver the M7 - M12 Interchange, which includes widening the M7 between the M5 at Prestons and Richmond Rd at Oakhurst, and building a new interchange between the M7 and M12 and an upgrade to Elizabeth Drive to connect it to the M12.

With early works and utilities commencing in April and our broader construction team mobilising shortly after, we are assembling the project Safety team and are seeking a Project Safety Manager to oversee the complex sections of the Elizabeth Drive Connection and M12 Link. Reporting to the Safety Director, this role will lead a team of Safety Advisors and work side by side with the Project Managers to ensure their scope is delivery safely and on time.

**The Role**:

- To lead the implementation of the Safety Management Plan for the 2 Construction sites
- Coordination of site safety advisors to ensure OHS compliance
- Work with Project Managers to assist in the safe planning of high risk works, including logistics, and plant challenges
- Subcontractor safety performance
- Support the development of a strong safety culture across the projects, and encouraging employee wellbeing and care

**About You**:

- Minimum 2 years experience in a Safety management role, ideally in the construction, engineering or mining sectors
- Tertiary qualified in Safety, with Cert IV completion
- A team player mindset and good communication with all staff and workforce
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
