**About the role**:
As a Cost Control Analyst at Origin Energy, your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and manage the costs of our execution projects, such as renewable energy developments and power generation upgrades. You will support the project controls and cost management teams, as well as project managers and other stakeholders, by providing guidance on cost management processes and ensuring effective project controls. - Collaborate with project teams on budgeting, planning, and effective cost management aligned with project schedules.
- Conduct cost audits, manage purchase orders, process invoices, and oversee contract variations for compliance.
- Provide financial insights, monitor project targets, and prepare estimates at completion (EAC).
- Support continuous improvement in cost reporting, analysis, and governance in line with strategic goals.

**What you will bring**:

- 3-5 years of experience in cost control, financial analysis, or financial planning in a large organisation and project environment, with a focus on the renewables or energy sector
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office (intermediate to advanced), PRISM, and SAP.

- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, engineering, or a related discipline.

**So, why join us?**
- Fuelling your ambition - earn a competitive salary, score annual bonuses, and shine in regular performance reviews.
- Powering your career with unbeatable perks - get discounted electricity, gas, and internet as an Origin employee
- Hybrid working: Enjoy the best of both worlds with the flexibility to work from home 2 days a week.
