Strategic Policy within Digital Economy, Queensland Government Customer and Digital Group (QGCDG) is a multi-disciplinary team that combines contemporary thinking and practices to deliver evidence-based and forward-looking strategic policy for Queensland Government. The Digital Identity Policy Lead works across government to understand the digital identity and verifiable credential ecosystem requirements for agencies and develops policies that help promote the use of privacy preserving identities and credentials.
**As the Digital Identity Policy Lead you will**: - Undertake research and analysis to support the development of digital identity and verifiable credentials ecosystem in Queensland
- Develop and facilitate workshops to engage a range of government and range of community and industry stakeholders, to identify and discuss digital identity and verifiable credentials policy related issues
- Develop engagement and communication strategies with government and other stakeholders to promote awareness and encourage investment in best practice digital identity practices
- Establish and maintain professional partnerships with a range of government and range of community and industry stakeholders and to work collaboratively with them to develop cohesive digital identity strategy and policy
- Develop a range of Identity policies and guidelines and to provide expert advice on digital identity technology to influence and guide best practice digital identity and verifiable credentials policy. Lead and contribute to the development of timely and well researched submissions, briefing notes, legislation, presentations, speeches, publications,reports and correspondence relating to digital identity. Represent the Branch, the Division or the Department as required at interdepartmental and inter-governmental meetings.
