The Goulburn Valley is often referred to as 'The Food Bowl of Australia' as around 25% of the total value of Victoria's agricultural production is generated in this area.
Greater Shepparton has a population of approximately 65,000, and an expenditure budget in excess of $118 million. The population is culturally diverse with 9.9% of residents being born overseas. The area has excellent education, recreation, cultural, social and health facilities and tourism is a developing focus for the region.
**Early Childhood Educator - Certificate III**
**Salary**:$66,892.28 per annum pro rata

**Part Time** (16hrs p/w)**:

Greater Shepparton City Council’s Children’s Services have an Early Childhood Educator Certificate III position available at Arthur Dickmann Children’s Centre. This is a temporary part time position, 16 hours per week, Wednesday and Friday. Shift times are rotational.
The role will be supporting the education team to foster a holistic, play based curriculum where the children’s interests, culture and abilities are the foundations for developing each child’s self-confidence to succeed.
Our service operates from 7.15am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. If you are enthusiastic, enjoy working with children and adults and are willing to work with the team to provide an inclusive environment that supports the community, then please apply.
Applicants must hold the following current qualifications and certificates:
- Certificate III (or actively working towards)
- Current First Aid - HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting
- Current CPR - HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Criminal History Check (valid within six months).
- Current and valid Employee Working with Children Check Card (WWCC).
- Protecting Children - Mandatory reporting and other obligations early childhood
