**Responsibilities**
- Contribute towards the safe and efficient operation of plant and equipment
- Carry out preventive / planned / breakdown maintenance routines
- Ability in identifying the Root Cause of equipment failures
- Timely and effective resolution of plant failures
- Partake in capital and improvement projects
- Able to identify improvement opportunities
- Follow WHS directives

**Required skills, experience and qualifications**:

- A great attitude and genuine desire to produce high quality results
- High level knowledge & commitment to WHS and risk management
- Sound verbal and written communication skills with intermediate level computer skills
- Ability to work individually or as a team member
- Experience working as a Maintenance Fitter, preferably in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment that has standard, structured work with accountability for delivery of maintenance KPI’s
- Ability to work to a flexible schedule including shift work as required
- Formal Trade qualifications are required
- MMAW & MIG welding skills (TIG optional)
- Hydraulics and Pneumatics training and experience

**Desirable**
- Forklift ticket
- Experience in using a Computerised Maintenance System MEX
- Working at Heights ticket
- Confined Spaces
- Ability to work Overtime as required
